Adult Individual Therapy

Move Beyond Insight. Create Lasting Change.

You don't have to keep fighting yourself.

Most people come to therapy believing something is wrong with them.

I don't believe that's true.

Your thoughts, emotions, ways of coping, and relationship patterns developed for understandable reasons. They helped you navigate the life you were living. But some of those patterns may no longer support the life or relationships you want today.

Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about understanding yourself clearly enough that you have the freedom to live differently.

Insight may have brought you this far. Now you're ready for something to change.

You may have spent years trying to understand yourself. You've reflected deeply, read the books, listened to the podcasts, or been in therapy before. You may understand where your patterns came from and still find yourself repeating them.

Perhaps you keep losing yourself in relationships. You understand what healthy boundaries are but struggle to hold them. You react in ways you later regret, feel responsible for other people's emotions, or continue hoping someone in your life will become who you need them to be.

Understanding matters. But insight alone does not always change how we live.

Our work helps you bring that understanding into your emotions, relationships, choices, and everyday life—until change becomes less like something you are trying to remember and more like a different way of being.

Therapy is something we create together.

I will not sit silently while you try to figure everything out alone, and I will not tell you who to become.

I bring genuine curiosity, careful attention, a clear point of view, and a willingness to share what I see. Together, we'll explore the patterns shaping your life, distinguish your part in relational dynamics from what belongs to someone else, and practice new ways of responding outside the therapy room.

Meaningful change asks for your participation. Therapy works best when you are willing to be honest with yourself, remain open to a different perspective, and bring what we discover into your everyday life.

You do not have to arrive knowing how to change. You do need to be willing to engage in the process.

What becomes possible

Over time, you may stop experiencing yourself as a problem to solve.

You may become more present and more confident in your ability to work with difficult thoughts and emotions. You may see relationships more clearly—recognizing your own part without taking responsibility for what belongs to someone else. You may respond with greater intention rather than automatically repeating familiar patterns.

Life does not become free of pain, uncertainty, or loss. The deeper change is that you trust yourself to meet your experience. You feel more at peace with who you are and more able to live from your own wisdom.

You do not need to become someone else.

You may need the opportunity to see yourself differently.

If you are thoughtful, open, and genuinely interested in creating change, I would welcome the opportunity to meet you. We can talk about what is bringing you to therapy, what you hope will be different, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
